I'm an ole cowbear
My thing is hair
I often drink...
And occasionally swear!
I come from the Rio Grande
Far to the south.
Its muddy waters
Have stuck to my mouth.
Chorus:
Hi oh, hi oh
Is the cowbear's song!
Cowbears are nice
And especially me.
Cuz I'm the only cowbear
From the Rio Grand
ee
.
Second verse
My girlfriend's name
Is Slue-foot Sue.
She rides on a catfish
Down the Rio Grande, too.
I had to leave her
To marry another
Cuz I'm an old cowbear
Who can't find his mother.
Chorus:
